Parent/Teacher Communication
As a staff, we ultimately strive to communicate effectively with parents daily. We learn the best way to communicate to each parent as we get to know them. Some families have multiple adults for pickup or drop off, so we try to communicate our daily routines in a variety of ways. First, we post important information on the Parent Board in the pickup lobby & the parent board in the classroom.
We post our reminders on the TV screen in the pickup / drop-off area. Finally, we touch base face to face about your child’s day. We email weekly updates about “What We Learned” that week & progress reports to individual families. Please let our staff know if you would like daily feedback about: eating, diapering, or toilet training.
MyProCare: A Portal For Parents
The Children's Center, Inc. is pleased to offer MyProcare, a free online portal for you to access account information and easily pay tuition. MyProcare is safe, secure and created with your convenience in mind.
- Click on the Image to access the portal login
- Enter your email address (the email you have on file with Children's Center, Inc) and choose Go.
- Enter the confirmation code sent to your email, choose a password, and press Go.
- Then you may:
a. View your child’s schedule, time card, immunizations and more.
b. Use the Pay button to make a payment with your card.
Allergy Information
We are a "Nut Free" school environment. Therefore, none of the snacks or lunches Parents provide can contain nuts or nut products. Sunflower Butter is the only accepted “nut butter” substitute.
Please notify our staff of any allergies your child might have to ensure that we can accommodate their needs to the best of our ability.
Drop Off & Pick UP
Drop-off
You may drop your child off at the drop-off / pickup door within the hours of 6:00 am - 9:00am. Drop-offs after 9:00am are to be done at the main office. Please try to drop off your child within the 6:00am - 9:00am time period, so as not to disrupt the classroom activity.
Pick-up
Parents that arrive more than 5 minutes late to pick up their children will be charged a $10 dollar based fee and a $1 per minute until they arrive. We ask that everyone be respectful of our staff and their schedules. Our staff will stay with children until their parents or an authorized individual picks up the child.
If an unauthorized individual attempts to pick up a child, we will immediately call the parents/guardian of the child to determine the nature of the situation. If necessary, we will contact the authorities to deal with unauthorized individuals.
We will only release children to authorized individuals. Please make sure that all authorized individuals are listed on your enrollment form.
