It is my pleasure to welcome you to our Children's Center family. As the Director of the school it is my priority to establish a culture that fosters a love for learning, an environment that welcomes curiosity, and above all a congregation of educators and families who have accepted the responsibility of ensuring that our children grow and prosper mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In order to achieve these goals we are committed to the following core standards:

  • Implement Best Practice founded in knowledge and research of how children learn and develop.
  • Build a community of learning that promotes progress and achievement of goals.
  • Acquire and retain strong Educators who facilitate learning within a curriculum framework.
  • Nurture and respect the child and family relationship as the first and most important doorway to learning.

The early childhood educational experience is critical to your child’s perspective of how they will view school for the rest of their lives. As a team, we aspire to provide your child and family access to an extraordinary education, and hope to have your child look forward to every day spent at The Children's Center Preschool as they grow in life.

I, in partnership with the preschool administration team values each family’s cultural context, and welcomes feedback that is in support of making our school a high quality preschool experience for all children. We look forward to your time here with us.

Sincerely,

Rosalind Cotton

Director of School

Security Measures

Security is an important issue for all parents. As The Children’s Center Inc. continues to keep your child safe and secure, here are some behind-the-scenes aspects you’ll want to know:

Electronic Security – Our facilities include a secure coded entry so only staff and families with the protected code can access the entrance. This means unauthorized visitors are never a risk to your child’s safety.

Hiring Process – Teachers are given extensive state-mandated background checks.

Entry Areas – Our entry areas are always staffed so there’s no worry about an unauthorized entry. Our watchful eyes focus on safety first, and we monitor any guests who may drop in for a visit.

Security Cameras – Every childcare classroom has security cameras for main office monitoring. The directors easily observe classroom activities throughout the day. How awesome to know you have no worries while your child is learning at The Children’s Center Inc.

Open Classrooms – Our unique open classrooms provide the best view possible of ongoing child care and leave no question of who is caring for your children.
